The King: The Story of King David DVD

David, the shepherd boy and youngest, and most put-upon of Jesse's seven sons, is anointed by God to be king. Courageous David's triumph over the giant Goliath earns him a place in King Saul's palace, where David meets Saul's youngest daughter, Michal. But King Saul's love for David dwindles as David becomes more popular with the king's subjects. After King Saul makes an attempt on his life, David is forced to flee. Leaving behind his true love, Michal, and lifelong best friend, Prince Jonathan, David forms an army and prepares to fulfill his destiny.
