Precious Memories

Hymns are the musical foundation of country superstar Alan Jackson's history. Growing up, he joined his family and his community in singing these classic songs of faith and hope in church each week. As he grew older and pursued a career in country music, his mother asked if he would record some of these hymns for her. This Christmas, Alan surprised her with a CD he put together just for her, along with help from his producer, and featuring background vocals from his wife and daughters. "I love those songs, and they mean a lot to me, " Alan says. "I grew up singing just about every one of these." Soon after, his record label heard the CD and asked if they could commercially release the album. Now "Precious Memories" is available for everyone to enjoy, featuring Alan's warm, rich vocals and 15 classic hymns. A collection to be treasured and enjoyed.
